I'm currently knee deep in my fictional universe, the AffinityVerse. The enormous amount of stories in my head finally forced their way out and created their own playground. I'm loving every magic-infused second of exploring it.
I'm married and live with my wife, two kids and cats in Doncaster, England. As a family, we love to travel, especially to Florida, as we love theme parks. You could say that is an understatement.
I love reading all genres. Physical books or ebooks on my kindle, I don't mind, so long as I've always got a good novel to read. Some people say they can sleep anywhere, I can read anywhere. As soon as the page turns, my mind blocks everything else out.

Book 1 - What an interesting new series. This box set has the first 2 stories in it. So can just keep reading 1 and 2 all at once.
It was written very well and I was hooked by the end of second chapter. I just had to find out what happened to Logan's sister. And by the end of book 1 there were so many unanswered questions/mysteries left unfinished. Plus what is up with the mystery white door. I found the book to be addicting and a bit freaky in a clean scary way. Plus looks like there is magic in this series but I only got a taste....I need more. I received a free copy of the first one when I joined Green's newsletter and cannot wait to read the next chapter......
Book 2 - I thought the second story in Merida was great. This one had a bit more action and gave us more details about what is going on, but also introduced more questions. I liked that it was well written and pretty clean story. Once I started I had to finish it all at once to see what happened next. I was not disappointed. I received a free copy and my honest review is - Better then the fist book and wildly addicting in that I cannot wait to see what happens next. A few scenes made me laugh out load and others go wow.
Books 3 - 5 are not out together for easy reading to finish up the first set to this wild addicting story:
Book 3 - I thought part three was a little darker then the others (after all Penny went missing at the end of 2). In this one we learn some more about this world, the powers some people have, and meet more players on the good and bad side of whatever is really going on. I really liked the more suspenseful tone to the story then in the previous episodes. I am still hooked and cannot wait to get more information to figure out what in the world is really going on. I like that in each story we learn more about this crazy place so we can ask more questions. I find this series to be addicting and crazy. And as I read the ending I said out loud WHAT? NOOOO.
Book 4 - Another crazy chapter in the Meridia Falls series one that makes me scratch my head. This time the story got more into the weirdness that seems to be going on and got to learn that more people are connected then we thought. Although not sure how they all are connected yet... But more answers are raised each time we learn more details. I really love the twists and never know what will be revealed next. This time we meet more people and get to figure out who that some of the good guys are really bad guys and that crazies are running around Meridia. Well written I was sucked in as usual and glued to to see what happens next. My honest review is that it is a bit creepy, full of twists and totally addicting.
Book 5 - Wow, not what I expected so it was great read. I loved the twists and turns that were in this episode. Crazy and bad people from the previous episodes show up again as Logan and his friends and allies try to find Penny to free her. The story was full of action and those fun twists you do not see coming, especially the ending. Learned a little more about this world that was rather interesting too. Just a story that sucks you in until the end. I received an advance copy and chose to review because I love this wacky series.

By visiting the institution where he was so often hospitalized in the past, Logan and his friends have found that Penny is being held under Stonhenge. However when they return to Meridia Falls to regroup before heading out, trouble awaits. Will they be able to over come the dire obstacles in Meridia Falls and make it to Stonehenge to rescue Penny at last? Join the group in this most exciting culmination of the Meridia Falls thrillers!
