The school injects its students with mysterious vaccines, multiple people have gone missing, time freezes, and thoughts, feelings, and whole lives can be transmitted through touch. But as Logan learns more about himself, he’ll have to face whether it’s this town that is insane – or if it’s simply him that is.

I'm author of the best selling Meridia Falls series and co-author of the best selling Theme Park Mysteries series.

I'm currently knee deep in my fictional universe, the AffinityVerse. The enormous amount of stories in my head finally forced their way out and created their own playground. I'm loving every magic-infused second of exploring it.

I'm married and live with my wife, two kids and cats in Doncaster, England. As a family, we love to travel, especially to Florida, as we love theme parks. You could say that is an understatement.

I love reading all genres. Physical books or ebooks on my kindle, I don't mind, so long as I've always got a good novel to read. Some people say they can sleep anywhere, I can read anywhere. As soon as the page turns, my mind blocks everything else out.

I'm always open to questions, comments, feedback or just if you want to say hello. I'd love to hear from you.

This is the second title in the Meridia Falls trilogy.

Logan returns to his birth town, Meridia Falls, just before his seventeenth birthday, but much has changed in his absence. His elder sister, Cassie, hasn’t been seen since her abduction ten years ago and is now presumed dead. Logan has spent the time since then incarcerated inside Serenity Grove and fed a steady diet of pills in an attempt to keep the flashbacks, vivid dreams, and memories at bay. But his return to Meridia Falls is the spark that ignites a dawning realization that all he witnessed a decade ago did not stem from the frightened mind of a ten-year-old boy but from becoming a witness to the otherworldly.

I truly love the concept of this series. I think the blend of reality with fantasy is done in a believable fashion and I especially loved how the teen antagonist of the first book was largely replaced by a more sinister and adult one. This added a lot to the book, for me. I can’t say the overly romantic focus is to my tastes but the rest of the book was compelling enough for me to be intrigued and engaged.

Kindle Unlimited {all except #1, but 1 with 2 in double pack is ku, and 1 was given out as freebie one or more times. Cross Files pamphlet or whatever was available through the 2 pack as well as possibly through signup with writer email.

I moved to Meridia Falls to start a new life. To forget my past and become someone new. I thought things would be normal here. That I could move on from witnessing my father kidnapping my sister. That I could forget what endless shrinks had finally convinced me was a coping hallucination - a strange white door, alone in the forest, that I watched my sister be dragged through. That I could finally stop hearing her screams…I should have known that wouldn’t be possible. Nothing is normal in Meridia Falls. The school injects its students with mysterious vaccines. People have gone missing. Time seems to freeze, and a touch of skin can transmit thoughts, feelings - whole lifetimes. Or maybe it’s just me who isn’t normal. Because, before me, in the forest, stands a white door. The same strange white door. And I’m about to walk through it…”

The Spark: A Meridia Falls Fantasy Thriller (Meridia Falls Series 1) {not ku unless in boxset of 1 with 2 but possibly available as freebie from write's site}.

Was I right about the Scooby-Doo gang in my review of Book 1? Yep, we got ourselves a mystery gang! Was the ambitious comparison to Marvel on-point? Well, now I learn it's not just magic science, it's technology and magic! And I've been starting for a new, fresher lore and worlds of tech and magic done in a book series for a while now - can't just let the superhero genre do all the work. Expect things to happen unexpectedly - as they should! D.B. Green made me realize I hate foreshadowing and hints cause I always predict or make assumptions, which ruins the reading experience for me. So don't expect anything and just enjoy a turn of events that makes you reread a few pages to catch, cause I've missed that. By the end of this installment, any aggravations you may have had in Book 1 are gonna make you think way deeper as to why are happening the way they are. Swallowed this one in one sitting, on to the next one I go.

✨Enchanting & Thrilling Read! ✨
This is the second book in this series, and a very captivating sequel it is. Inside this covers this is what I found: A utterly Enchanting story with full dimensional characters, vivid narration and stunning sequence of events. It subtly pulls you in and before you even notice, your so engulfed you hush and huff right along with them. The events playing out before you causes time to seemingy seize to exist. A good book can keep you intrigued but an excellent book sweeps you away like this one does. I wont give any spoilers or summaries of what happens, because that is like revealing the answer before presenting the riddle. I choose instead to describe how and in what way this book made me feel, because its the effect that is triggered and the emotions that it brings that the reader craves.

The second books continues right where the first book left off and Logan, Penny, Maz and Steve are searching for the white door in the middle of the forest, however, when they arrive they find more than they had bargained for. penny and Logan are completely engrossed in one another and though they know that what they are feeling is not natural they enjoy apart from not being able to do anything about it. Things turn nasty very quickly and the young people find they are totally out of their depth as the mystery continues to thicken. This is a book which just has to be read at one go and I just have to go on reading into the next book as it is too nerve wrecking to stop here. A great sci-fi thriller at it's best! Is it science or magic at the root of the mystery? What is Sunburst and how does this all relate to the vaccines they were given the day before? Wow, just too much!

I thought the second story in Merida was great. This one had a bit more action and gave us more details about what is going on, but also introduced more questions. I liked that it was well written and pretty clean story. Once I started I had to finish it all at once to see what happened next. I was not disappointed. I received a free copy and my honest review is - Better then the first book and wildly addicting in that I cannot wait to see what happens next. A few scenes made me laugh out load and others go wow.

I didn't appreciate the way the author left me hanging at the end of the book. I did love the story which was a combination of science and fantasy. All I can say is Mr. D.B. Green better get the third book done quickly as I can't wait to see how this series is going to end. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

The story continues from The Spark as Logan, Penny, Maz and Steve try to unravel the mystery behind the white door! Excitement ramps up as the kids delve deeper into their investigation and the romance between Logan and Penny begins to boil. Come along for the ride as they face danger from all sides with more than a spark of magic!

Logan, Penny, Max & Steve

The 4 friends return to the crypt to attempt to rescue Mr. Randall. The Mounties come to the chapel to search, but there seems to be no crypt.

Excellent characterization & plotting.

Totally worth a five!

I really love these books. It keeps me captivated, whenever I am able to get the time to read them, which, sadly, is very little. I'm so happy I bought the books, though, because it's worth every penny, I think!

Thoroughly enjoyed the next part of this adventure. Is a different type of story, and extremely curious to see where it goes next. Looking forward to Part 3!

Thinking life could be normal in Meridia Falls is a bit far fetched. This is one strange town. Totally intriguing.

Sunburst is a great story that, at times, keeps you on the edge of your seat. The only criticism is that it needs to be edited one more time. With needed corrections made I would rate this as a five.
