I'm author of the best selling Meridia Falls series and co-author of the best selling Theme Park Mysteries series.

I'm currently knee deep in my fictional universe, the AffinityVerse. The enormous amount of stories in my head finally forced their way out and created their own playground. I'm loving every magic-infused second of exploring it.

I'm married and live with my wife, two kids and cats in Doncaster, England. As a family, we love to travel, especially to Florida, as we love theme parks. You could say that is an understatement.

I love reading all genres. Physical books or ebooks on my kindle, I don't mind, so long as I've always got a good novel to read. Some people say they can sleep anywhere, I can read anywhere. As soon as the page turns, my mind blocks everything else out.

I'm always open to questions, comments, feedback or just if you want to say hello. I'd love to hear from you.

Another great and short story. Penny once again has strange things happening. This time it’s Logan that she knows nothing about.

This short prequel gives us a glimpse of one of the pivotal characters in the series before the action begins. There is a lot of insight to the series to be gain in these few pages!

Penny has just lost her beloved grandfather. She and her mother don’t get along. In fact Penny moved out into an apartment above the old cinema her grandfather owned. Before his death he assured Penny that the building was left to her in his will, and there would be no way for her mother to take it from her.

Now that Penny is basically alone in the world all she has is the cinema and her newspaper of strange fact and occurrences that she publishes. Penny spends a lot of time on her research and is helped quite a bit by one mysterious source, Cross.

Cross has informed her that someone she needs to talk to will be coming to Meridia Falls soon. Logan Collins, whose sister disappeared, or was murdered, stories differ, has had unusual experiences. Penny can’t wait to meet him!

Much to Penny’s dismay, her mother makes a claim for the

cinema. Now Penny will have to fight to keep her home.

Penny is a great introduction to the Meridia Falls series. Get your copy today!

As far as prequels go, I'm not sure this is a great place to start the series - maybe more of a companion story?

It's about a girl called Penny who doesn't get on with her mom and has just lost her grandpa. He's left her his old cinema building, but aggressive mom denies a will exists and wants to sell up. So far, so understandable. But there's something about a boy in her dreams, a guy called Logan who's real. They have a connection because..? We never see her dreams or get why she's so over the moon that a boy who doesn't know her is going to start at her school. I felt like I was missing a huge chunk of information.

The writing is pretty good, but I guess this one's just not for me.
