I'm currently knee deep in my fictional universe, the AffinityVerse. The enormous amount of stories in my head finally forced their way out and created their own playground. I'm loving every magic-infused second of exploring it.
I'm married and live with my wife, two kids and cats in Doncaster, England. As a family, we love to travel, especially to Florida, as we love theme parks. You could say that is an understatement.
I love reading all genres. Physical books or ebooks on my kindle, I don't mind, so long as I've always got a good novel to read. Some people say they can sleep anywhere, I can read anywhere. As soon as the page turns, my mind blocks everything else out.

This is the third title in the Meridia Falls trilogy.
Logan returns to his birth town, Meridia Falls, just before his seventeenth birthday, but much has changed in his absence. His elder sister, Cassie, hasn’t been seen since her abduction ten years ago and is now presumed dead. Logan has spent the time since then incarcerated inside Serenity Grove and fed a steady diet of pills in an attempt to keep the flashbacks, vivid dreams, and memories at bay. But his return to Meridia Falls is the spark that ignites a dawning realization that all he witnessed a decade ago did not stem from the frightened mind of a ten-year-old boy but from becoming a witness to the otherworldly.
Um, hello plot twist!
Also, 100 pages is just not long enough! These novella-length segments give a brief insight into the events unfolding and yet not enough to satiate my desire to learn more. More questions keep piling up, as I continue into this series, with hardly any answers also provided. I’m haunted by my want to know more, by this point and can’t see my interest into Meridia Falls fading anytime soon.

The white door in Hellgate forest led to the group discovering about the Devino Lapse ie. the freezing in time. Now Penny is kidnapped and frozen too and Cross/Church, Penny's contact who just turns up in her flat at the Meridia Falls Cinema says that they were all involved in a magical experiment and that Logan could see Penny's ghost through Maz's eyes. The learn about extraction vaults, that they are all enchanters, that they all possess the M-chromosome and that this leads to Affinity with magic signatures, radiance, the ability to open doors to lead to wherever they want to go like portals to traverse and so much more! This series gets more and more exciting with every book, this one was one big race through a series of magical doors for Logan which took him to Italy to the Archanter, the prison where those who used magic for evil where held, underneath the Vatican, then to Texas where he was meant to visit his father in prison for the first time ever! the story once again stops at a most crucial cliff hanger which has me crying out to read the next book! A real fantasy thriller which left me breathless in the end, poor Logan!!

I'm clicking through these books like sunflower seeds. It's almost discomforting how fast paced it is, but then no word building is lost in the way. With this part some credibility wanes at places for me with how unorganized is a cast that you expect to approach certain things with s little more caution and or preface. I feel just as clueless as the main character, though, so at least I'm relating. As per usual, things take unexpected turns and twists without as much as a warning - an I like that. But, again, I hope this plan-less-ness is only due to the high stakes and the need to act fast. A few words of dialogue to explain a bit more, as well as more questions and curiosity from the MC, would have been nice. But dammit, the ending caught be right by the last line again and how can I not move on to Part 4 now. I'm happily aggravated, if that makes sense, and it's been a since a written work made me downright physically react to things happening in it.

I thought part three was a little darker then the others (after all Penny went missing at the end of 2). In this one we learn some more about this world, the powers some people have, and meet more players on the good and bad side of whatever is really going on. I really liked the more suspenseful tone to the story then in the previous episodes. I received a free copy and my honest review is that I am still hooked and cannot wait to get more information to figure out what in the world is really going on. I like that in each story we learn more about this crazy place so we can ask more questions. I find this series to be addicting and crazy. And as I read the ending I said out loud WHAT? NOOOO.

Again, as in the previous series books, this was a beautiful story containing magic, mystery, suspense, and even a type of adventure. While I was glad to see D B Green wrote this third book in the series, he still left one hell of a cliff-hanging type ending, which brings up the question of how soon is September going to get here for book #4. This series grabs you from page one and you are hooked until the last sentence on the last page, where you go.........oh damn, is that all and did he do that to me again? And of course the answer is yes he did. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Enchanters is the 3rd book in DB Greens Meridia Falls series. This series just keeps getting better with each book. If you like fantasy books you need to read this one. The characters are likable, the story well written, and it includes mystery and suspense. I can hardly wait until the next books is available.

The series just keeps on getting better and better. The plot is even more twisted, and for every question seemingly answered more arise. Love the characters.
